Cardiff training event helps charities save money

Charity finance professionals have recently attended a procurement training event on the 14th of March at Cardiff Business School, designed to help them create effective and efficient tenders within their organisation.

In collaboration with the Charity Finance Group, the event was run by 2buy2 – the professional procurement company that secures financial savings on their day-to-day costs of organisations - enabling them to use that money where it matters most.

A number of training sessions took place throughout the day to explore the procurement and tender process including writing tenders, procurement methods and designing award criteria. New approaches to procurement were also explored, such as the application of lean principles and how demonstrating good procurement practice can be a key differentiator when it comes to raising funds.
